I think that sometimes when we think of movement we picture exertion, sweat, kettlebells, standing on top of a peak in a muscle shirt … all great, but it almost puts movement in a box, and it puts it up on an inaccessible shelf.
Movement doesn’t require a gym. It doesn’t require athletic clothing, a space free from distraction, 60 consecutive minutes, the most supportive shoes, a base level of fitness, or even “knowing exactly what you’re doing”.
The only thing movement requires is a decision to do it! And movement itself nurtures so much more than our physical well-being!
It is an opportunity to feel, to listen, to experience growth. It is an opportunity to be challenged, to be humbled, to accomplish something and to be empowered. The decision to move takes action – and that action generates so much momentum. Movement is care of self. Movement is love of self. And when love runs through us, love pours out of us!
The world is moved by your decision to move!
